Back to the Futsal Season
The futsal season in the U.S. is around the corner. Professional and young futsallers have been anxiously waiting for this year’s season which will hopefully look pretty much like what it used to be before the pandemic. Social and physical distancing measures during COVID-19 lockdown disrupted many regular aspects of life, including sport and physical activity. That’s why this year’s season is expected to be very special.
Futsal is a growing sport in the U.S. especially at the youth level. Our partner USYF is the largest U.S. soccer-affiliated futsal organization and has been playing a strong role in the growth of the sport by developing players, coaches, and officials to compete at the highest levels of futsal and soccer in the world.
A major milestone in the history of futsal in the U.S. is the recent participation of the National Team in the FIFA Futsal World Cup in Lithuania which marked their sixth trip to a World Cup and first since 2008. Playing against futsal giants like Argentina, Iran, and Serbia has been an excellent promotion of the sport and is motivating many young players to start practicing it.

The importance of choosing the right futsal shoes
Choosing the right shoes is very important for almost any sport. Being futsal a fast-paced sport, shoes must have good traction and grip to avoid slipping or sliding on the court. The quality of the upper is very important too. Breathability and flexibility are key features that have a direct impact on the players’ performance and comfort.
Since Senda’s shoes have a futsal-specific design they offer a fine balance between comfort, functionality, and durability.
The USHUAIA Club is ideally suited for beginners. The synthetic leather on the front provides a soft touch, and the reinforced double-stitched suede toe cap piece provides durability. An excellent shoe at a very competitive price.
TheUSHUAIA Prois made with best-in-class materials, from the rubber gum sole to the leather upper, for playing at the highest level. The soft natural leather on the front provides a superior touch, and a unique 3D mesh construction on the back provides increased breathability. World Cup players that wore them in Lithuania a few days ago include Lucas Farach (Argentina), Richard Rejala, Jorge Espinoza, Alan Rojas (Paraguay), and Andrés Teran (Venezuela). Also, Alencar Ventura “Junior” player of the U.S. National Team trained hard for the World Cup in his USHUAIA Pro.
The CORDOBA Pro is for all-around players looking for performance and support. A solid shoe that strategically combines natural leather and PU microfiber, allowing players to have excellent touch and control of the ball.
