Marcia joined U.S. Soccer—the governing body of soccer in all its forms in the United States— with an extensive international playing and coaching background in both soccer and futsal. She was a long-time member of the Brazil Women’s National Team, where she was a part of two Women’s World Cups (1991, 1995), and the 1996 Olympic Games. Marcia has been coaching futsal in the United States since 2004 and holds a U.S. Soccer “B” Coaching License.

Her collaboration with Senda starts at a pivotal moment as women's futsal continues to gain momentum globally. With the first FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup™ to take place in 2025 in the Philippines, Marcial’s leadership of the U.S. Women’s Futsal team marks her as an inspiring sports personality. As a Senda ambassador, she will promote the brand's values of fair trade, sustainability, and positive impact in our community.

Marcia’s influence and expertise, coupled with Senda’s innovative products, aim to elevate the sport and inspire the next generation of female futsal players.

This partnership underscores Senda’s commitment to growing futsal while highlighting the importance of representation and leadership in the sport. Marcia’s leadership role aligns with Senda’s mission to empower futsal with ethically produced quality products.
