Senda to Sponsor Conrad & Beasley United Soccer Team at “The Soccer Tournament”

Senda is proud to announce a sponsorship agreement with Conrad & Beasley United soccer team, which was recently founded by two American soccer legends: DaMarcus Beasley and Jimmy Conrad. 

Conrad & Beasley United will participate in the new “The Soccer Tournament” to be held in June at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina and Senda was in charge of designing and producing the uniforms for them.  With a similar format to “TBT” (the well-known “The Basketball Tournament”), “TST” will feature 32 teams that will compete for 5 days (May 31 to June 4)  in a “World Cup style” format consisting of group play and single elimination knockout rounds in their quest for a $1,000,000 prize.

About Jimmy & DaMarcus

Jimmy Conrad

James Paul Conrad (born February 12, 1977) is an American retired soccer player who played as a defender. During his 13-year MLS career, he was four-time MLS Best XI and the 2005 MLS Defender of the Year. He also earned 27 caps with the United States men's national soccer team and went to the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

After his playing career Conrad has worked in the media industry and currently stars on his YouTube channel Jimmy Conrad, he also streams on Twitch regularly. He currently serves as the technical director of USL League Two side San Francisco Glen.

DaMarcus Beasley

As a left-footed player, Beasley played both as a left winger and left-wing back throughout his career. He retired from soccer after the 2019 MLS Season. 

After starring at the 1999 FIFA U-17 World Championship, Beasley emerged as a star with the Chicago Fire before making a move to Dutch club PSV Eindhoven in 2004. He later spent time in the Premier League with Manchester City, in the Scottish Premier League for Rangers, and in the Bundesliga for Hannover 96. He finished his career with spells with Puebla and Houston Dynamo.  

Beasley is the only U.S. man to play in four FIFA World Cups, his first in 2002 and his latest in 2014, earning 126 caps during his 16-year international career.
