Diego Valeri’s love for the game began in Lanús, a club that shaped his identity both as a player and as a person. From playing in the youth system at just nine years old to lifting a championship trophy with the first team, Lanús gave Valeri the foundation that would carry him to the global stage.
Along the way, he credits mentors like Paolo Rossi and Guillermo Barros Schelotto for influencing his creativity, leadership, and resilience. These relationships helped prepare him for the challenges he would face in Europe.
