Senda Welcomes New Women Ambassadors: Empowering the Game with Women’s Futsal Stars

Known for our commitment to fair trade and empowering communities through sport, we at Senda are proud to announce our newest ambassadors: seven inspiring Argentinian women’s professional futsal players who embody the spirit, skill, and heart of the game.

These talented athletes bring more than just elite performance to the pitch—they are role models, advocates for gender equality in sports, and passionate about making futsal more inclusive and accessible to everyone. As Senda Ambassadors, they will help promote our brand’s mission of using sport as a vehicle for positive social change.

Cecilia López

Cecilia López currently plays for Racing Club and the Argentina Women’s National Futsal Team. Originally from Misiones, she previously played for San Lorenzo, where she won multiple national titles—including league tournaments, cups, and Supercopas—between 2016 and 2022. She also lifted international trophies, including the Copa Libertadores with San Lorenzo, and earned silver medals with Argentina at the Copa América Femenina in 2023 and 2025, the latter securing the team a place in the upcoming Futsal Women’s World Cup in the Philippines.

Mailén Romero

Mailén Romero, a talented midfielder from Mendoza, currently plays for AD Ceuta in Spain and represents Argentina at the international level. Before heading to Europe, she played for Villa Hipódromo, General San Martín, Godoy Cruz, and Racing Club. In 2023, she fulfilled her dream of playing abroad by joining AD Ceuta. She was also part of the Argentina squad that earned a silver medal at the 2025 Copa América Femenina, securing qualification for the team to the upcoming Futsal Women’s World Cup.

Melina Quevedo

Melina Quevedo plays for Racing Club and has represented Argentina in international competitions. Born in Juan Llerena, she was instrumental in Racing’s 2023 First Division Championship, scoring twice in the final against San Lorenzo. In 2024, she helped Racing reach the final of the Copa Libertadores, earning the runner-up spot. That same year, she was nominated for the Alumni Awards for her standout performances throughout the season.

Tami Falconi - Argentina Futsal National Team - Senda Futsal Shoes

Tamara Falconi

Tamara Falconi a seasoned goalkeeper, currently plays for AD Ceuta in Spain and is part of the Argentina National Futsal Team. She has previously played for Don Bosco and Pacífico in Argentina, and had successful stints in Italy with FFC Cagliari and Kick Off C5, as well as with CD Leganés in Spain. She joined AD Ceuta in 2024, bringing leadership and experience to the squad. Falconi continues to be a key figure for Argentina in international tournaments.

Antonela Sotero

Antonela Sotero is a standout player for Racing Club and has competed with the Argentina National Team. She was a crucial part of Racing’s 2023 First Division Championship victory, scoring in the final against San Lorenzo. In 2024, she played in the Copa Libertadores, helping Racing reach the final and claim the runner-up position. Her tenacity and technical skill make her one of the most exciting young players in Argentine futsal.

Silvina "Torito" Espinazo

Silvina "Torito" Espinazo is the starting goalkeeper for Racing Club and a regular member of the Argentina National Futsal Team. She was a key part of the Racing squad that won the Argentine First Division Championship in 2023 and also played in the 2024 Copa Libertadores, where the team finished as runners-up. Known for her leadership and strong presence in goal, she is one of the most respected figures in Argentine futsal.

Agostina Chiesa

Agostina Chiesa is a futsal player for Racing Club and the Argentina Women’s National Futsal Team. Originally from Chaco, a province in northern Argentina, she has played professionally in Italy and Spain. She recently helped Argentina win a silver medal at the 2025 Women’s Copa América, which secured the team’s place in the upcoming Futsal Women’s World Cup.

Each ambassador represents a unique story of perseverance, teamwork, and leadership. From national league appearances to grassroots engagement, they are helping shape the future of women’s soccer in Argentina and beyond.

Together with Senda, these seven women are not only elevating the game—they’re redefining it.
